Art Director - Ad Copy & Layout Spring 2024

This is a project for my Ad Copy & Layout Class.

As art director for Who Gives a Crap, I create visuals that highlight the brand's commitment to sustainability. I created a brand image and design for eco-friendly toilet paper, blending creative design with impactful messaging to encourage environmentally friendly choices while preserving a unique brand image. This role has enhanced my skills in merging creativity with marketing strategies and improving visual storytelling to engage consumers and foster brand loyalty.

In Ad Copy & Layout, I was tasked with repositioning “Who Gives A Crap”, a toilet paper company, as a mainstream, socially conscious brand that offers high-quality, sustainable household products while maintaining its unique identity and commitment to making a positive impact.

As a team, Alec De La Planta and I created the “Crap Like a King” campaign. This campaign targeted Middle Age Working-Class Males to strengthen a positive trending relationship with the brand.

This inspired me to create a construction themed campaign, the Black/Yellow color scheme of caution tape and hard hats created an eye-catching visual that the brand was lacking.

I was also tasked with designing an experiential portion of this campaign. “Construction Commodes” are luxury portable restrooms that are installed on job sites across the U.S. OOH posters and sponsored Instagram posts to promote requests for these restrooms.
